What does the name/word Theunis mean? ?

I think it may be of Latin origin, but I am not sure. I have looked at the baby name websites with no luck. I tried the dictionary with no luck also.
If it is made up, then people were making it up a long time ago! I googled it and there are a few people with it as a first, middle, and last name. Also it is part of a winery in South Africa which got its start in the 1700's.

Theunis is was also the Dutch nickname for ROMAN Antonius. It is the diminutive of Antonius.
